This is my blog, i will try to be interesting but that gift was not given to me. So maybe i should say something about me, I am Chris aka C-bone aka Christian and I go to CSU and am studying to become a Civil Engineer. I also am obsessed with motorcycles so there will probably be entries about the most exciting on-road racing sport, Moto GP and also some about Formula 1. To the fans of nascar and such what are you thinking???? But yeah thats about it

3rd place is the greatest of all

Just a sidenote that our trivia team placed 3rd tonight in trivia earning ourselves a nice 20 buck bar tab. I'd like to congratuate the core of the LNT drinking team, Scott, Brandon, Casey, and brian for a job well done. After trivia we celebrated as any college kid would by taking some shots. Casey and I left early and managed to pick up a hitch hiker on the way home who was crazier then cat litter. He almost got free taco bell but was insuccessful overall the night was fun as usual and i'd like to apologize to beth if casey was loud tonight when arrived back home, the kid just has too much energy to contain and having a quiet conversation is outta the question. Anywho lets hope for the same or better next week and too all those that left our team......naner naner naner.

Hello

Work has been going pretty good lately. Last week when we were getting all the rain, we had a couple half days of work and on friday i got paid to watch HBO from 11-3. Also it seems "crews" have finally been established and i think i lucked out working with a kid like me. we get our shit done quick and then take it easy for a bit. one thing i've found is that there a crap load of frogs on all the fields and when you throw them with a shovel they sin around with their legs extended and its pretty damn funny. Also everyone in windsor is really friendly, we honk at everyone we pass and wave at them and everyone waves back with a big smile. overall i'm likeing work alot and its really nice to be working outside.

well my friend just got here and we need to do some drinking before we head to brewfest. have a good weekend

PARKER COUNTRY FESTIVAL

Went home this weekend for parker days, the council wants people to call it parker country festival but parker days just sounds more dirty. It was a freakin' blast like always, got hit on by some 17 year olds and danced at Sweaty Betty's with some 50 year olds. You can't beat that fun with a stick. The only bady thing about parker days is the price of booze, 4 bucks for a beer, that is pretty ridiculous but thankfully for good thinking on our part we would go to the liquor store get some booze and get 'er done. Anywho, my sister's friend Curt is one funny and very bold individual. He is by far the most forward person I have met. Overall, it was a fun time and got to hang out with some kids from HS i haven't hung out with for a while and also popped some cherry's for first time parker days people, and they will be singing praise for it for weeks to come.

On a side note, i'm sitting here watching the lakers/pistons game and I am shocked that the pistons are about to go up 3-1 in the series. I thought for sure it would be an easy sweep for the lakers but apparently, the old saying still stands, offense wins games but defense wins championships.

Diggin' holes

as a forward my shift key seems to be stuck. i believe it is the illusive rock that has been causing troubles on my keyboard for about 2 months now and it has moved from the escape key to the number one key to the tab key then caps lock key and now the shift key. I have to hit it pretty hard to get it to work. Therefore if capilization falls off that is my excuse.

anywho, i have not written a blog in some time. since my last entry i have finshed this semester, been fired from my job, found a new job much better paying job, and was part of puke fest 2004. also i have aquired a new roomate, beth. i don't think she cares for me because i have seen her downstairs in the living room maybe three times for a total of 30 minutes for the two or three weeks she has been living here. she seems to have been chained to her bedroom because, i mean come on whats not to like about me....hahaha. one night, i was in the living room for the better part of the afternoon and evening from about 4-10ish and she was in her room the whole time. maybe i stink. well on to other news.

i was fired from my job at walrus after working there for nearly two years for missing a short afternoon shift. while i was a little angry it turned out for the better because i found a better paying job, and much better hours job. i work for weld county school district on the maintenance crew. i do just about everything involving land maintenance like mowing, irrigation, planting and digging holes. lots and lots of big fuckin' holes. apparenly the onld maintenace boss was a lazy piece of shit (per my bosses words) and didn't do shit because we have to repair so many damn valve boxes and main lines. it's not too bad however because i work with a pretty cool kid from csu and we just bull shit the whole time. breaks are also a hoot because there is this 75 year old man named elmer that is the funniest old man i have ever seen. every other word outta his mouth is a form of fuck. fuckin cock suckers, dumb fuck, fuck that noise etc etc. he is just one funny fuckin dude. overall the job is pretty good. its hard work but i would rather keep busy then sit with my thumb up my ass because it makes the days go by very fast.

last weekend was pretty fun. on friday i was just sitting around most the evening until brian came over and then soon erik. erik got out the liquor and made some shots while all of us drank some beers. we then headed over and me up with casey at a small party and drank more over there and then headed back here and drank much more with neil and the alabama slama as well. the cops showed up at about 3 am because our late night fiascos were a little too much. but to make a long story short everyone of the people at the party puked at least one time from casey's nasty ass concoctions.

thats it from here everyone take care and keep on truckin'

String of Thoughts

Well I usually write about 1.8 entries per week but this was by far the wierdest dream I have had in some time and it all occured within a 8 minute nap. I made sure I remembered it because well you'll see.

Starts off Brian and I are walking somewhere and there is this crazy crosswalk type thing to get across the street and he somehow gets across very easily while I'm dodging cars left and right. We then proceed up into some kinda stadium that is holding a fundraiser for the club soccer team. This is a really big stadium and I'm like wow I didn't realize it was so popular at this school. Brian morphs into my friend cooper and he gets to the ticket buying place really fast while I'm walking up these steep white ramps that sometimes have stairs with green banisters on each side. You go up and down alot and it's like a maze of some sort. Anyways I finally make it to the buying place and see a bunch of kids from HS soccer that I forgot their names and decide to make up names and they believe it's their real name. I realize I don't have any money and cooper is like, no problem I can buy it. He gives the dude his money and the new standard of money is that it is stamped by the budweiser corporation and the billls are much bigger then they were before. The guy believes it is counterfeit money but doesn't really care that much so we talk about why budweiser all of a sudden has to stamp the money. Somehow my sweater now has pockets built into it and I have change in there and a pencil I bought on monday but lost the same day. I pull out money and realize I have a 150 dollar bill and was like hmmmm didn't know they make 150 dollar bills. I give it to the guy and he laughs because it is monopoly money and I'm furstrated but somehow have two 5 dollars bills (real ones) and we finally get our tickets that are more like the punch cards that you use to vote for players for all star games. So then we talk to the guy some more and Cooper starts talking about how he's going to sue Berthoud Lynn (channel 7 news lady from a while ago) for fondling him while he was cross dressing at a party, and talking about other incidences of cross dressing. I'm confused and he keeps going on about all these lawsuits. One is about a fish or something that jumped up on him and he got in trouble for killing it and he has these moving picture things with all these fish jumping out of the water to protest the case. After that I woke up.

I can explain quite a bit of it too. First off brian morphed into cooper because I had just emailed him earlier in the afternoon. We go to a soccer game because well I've been playing soccer alot lately. I don't know why I go through the maze to get to the ticket place. The money is stamped by the budweiser corp. because my dad left a message on my phone saying I got a letter from them and that they are reviewing my application. The cross dressing thing comes from I was watching Comedy Central's Greatest standups of all times and right before I went to go take a nap they mentioned the highest ranking cross dressing comedian. Berthoud Lynn looks like Condoleeza Rice and they had something about Rice in the Sports Illustrated issure today. The fish is that I just saw a commerical for Big Fish coming out on DVD. Other than that it was just a damn wierd dream.

It's my life

Today's weather is shittay. I think the weather likes playing tricks on us, having beautiful days for like a week or so and then coming back and spitting in our faces with its dirty moisture. And yes I know we need rain badly but I think it should just rain down up in wyoming and flow down to colorado and be nice and sunny with NO wind.

But a short re-cap of the weeks happenings so far. Monday had a soccer game in which we lost 0-1. The referre had the "brillant" idea to cut the game short about 5 minutes since they were late to set up the nets. I wouldn't be so upset but our team is pretty damn good and we're all very competitive and all want to win even if that means having excuses for our loss. But anyway came back and went to the drive thru and watched Kill Bill 2 and The whole 10 yards. Neither of which was excellent nor bad but I've seen much better and much worse. Very middle of the line movies IMO and still worth seeing at some point.

Tuesday is trivia day at the old wash bar and as brian said we did very well to start off with and just bombed the rest of the game. I did enjoy the 3 dollar coors light pitcher(s) and next time will need to get my HW done before so I can drink more with our team. Today nothing of importance, got the truck back from the old man and went to late lunch/early dinner with him and discussed sports and such. Well thats it for now take it easy and don't smoke too much cannibus sativa.

To be a kid at heart

It has been well over 6 months since I have taken an extended ride, so tommorow in celebration of E-days, I have chosen to go for a ride taking me over four passes. The first will be cameron pass on HWY 14. I will then travel down one of the greates HWY's on the face of earth known as HWY 125. It is a 40 mile stretch of long sweepers along willow creek in a heavily forested area. Pavement is smooth as glass since it's in the middle of nowhere and this takes me over my second pass (aptly named) willow creek pass. I will then head into granby grab a bite to eat at a nice gasstation/eatery with some excellent burgers and head onto winter park. Heading outta winter park up over my third pass, berthoud pass along HWY 40 with a sweet series of tight switchbacks on the northern side that would make Troy Bayliss grin ear to ear. This will take me to I-70 where I will exit onto HWY 103 up to Mt. Evans and over my fourth pass, squaw pass. I have never ridden this pass so it should be fun and exciting. This is a small loop (35-40 miles) that will take me back to Idaho Springs where I will get on HWY 119 into blackhawk to nederland onto peak to peak HWY into estes and back home. Should be exciting and hopefully i can get some sleep since i'll need to head out early tommorow. The ONLY downside is I will half to miss my soccer class. Oh well. Well take it easy and y'all have super weekend. GO NUGGETS and Avs woohoo

What would Jesus do for a Klondike Bar

What to talk about drrrr... bikes of course. Did my first actual burnout with the scooter the other day on the worn out tires and it threw a good bit a rubber up on a lexus parked behind me. I've read a few road tests on the new ZX10r and the bike sounds absolutely wicked, now if I could only fine 10 g's laying around I could have a bike that rivals F1 cars with the HP to weight ratio. Went home for easter and went to eat at a fabulous Irish named but seafood reastraunt called McCormicks for easter dinner. They have some of the best Grilled tuna I have ever had in my life plus some blue crab stuffed mushrooms that were also phenomenol AND excellent mashed potatoes to boot. Yesterday brian and I had our first IM game which we won by a score of 2-1 against a team supposebly with alot of the club soccer players. Brian had an assist for our first goal. I love soccer, it's an absolute blast playing with really good players that test your skills. Compared to soccer class where this girl repeatedly kicks the ball strait outa bounds every time she touches the ball. But yeah all this soccer is taking its tool on the knee. I think i should have it looked at since i was unable to bend it past 90 degrees most of the day but if it doesn't hurt and I can play fine on it, don't mess with it. Well today was trivia day again at washingtons where we tied for 10th. Not a good showing for really anyone today except for Tom who was on top of his game. So anyways, go enjoy the weather and get outa the damn house or school if you haven't already.
